8 is my favorite number. It’s the number of items you can fit into 1 cup or can fit into 3 cups. It’s important to remember that 3 is also the number of things you can fit into 1 square foot of space.
3 is a good number because it’s a base for math. It has several uses, but one of the most important uses is in the realm of science. I really have no idea if this is an actual scientific fact or not. I would argue that it’s probably a combination of both.

There’s also another way to measure the time since you’ve been in my apartment. It’s called “the time since yesterday.” This method takes into account data from the time sensors on the doors. So if I’m in my apartment right now and I’m reading a message on my phone, then the time I’ve been in my apartment right now equals the time I’ve been reading that message in my phone.
